A sophisticated bear with a mustache riding Abraham Lincoln with laser eyes into glorious battle.

The concept was originally a random idea my friend asked me to speed draw in my AP Physics class. Abe and the bear became the topic of a few more doodles, and I felt like surprising him with a full painting.

I have to thank him for getting it to the front page of Reddit. :D

. . . what the hell am I looking at? Haha!
On the technical front, this was very well done -- it has a nice color palette and lighting, the perspective makes Lincoln look like as if he's about to crawl right out of the picture (which will make me dream about the greatest Americans in history coming at me with Superman powers now . . .), and the bear has an epic face, holding one of the coolest American flags I have ever seen.
Last but not least, this is really funny, of course! Reminds me of some other deviation on here that had George Washington fighting off a zombie horde.
